I called Bit Repair to get a repair quote with opening the LCD screen and was offered a very reasonable price to do so. After further explaining the situation, I was advised the repair could be done without opening the LCD screen, and the cost would be 1/3 of the previous quote. I headed down with my iPad. The technician examined my iPad and said it doesn’t need to have the screen open for the repair. The repair was done in 5 minutes with proper tools.
