I filled out a form, the young man took my phone to a technician in the back and I sat and waited. It took about 20-30 minutes. The place is a little quirky but it’s tech. ⭐ “Apple Repair is phenomenal. When my hard drive crashed 6 months ago, they were able to repair it same day and replace it with a faster modern hard drive that will last much longer. This is something apple wouldn’t do. Apple will only replace the same old parts. Just had a problem with my charger, and they gave me a discount on a new one for being a repeat customer. Highly recommend them. Update 9/27/16: My computer was running super slow today and was getting worse rapidly. I tried all the standard reboots and safe mode, spent an hour on the phone with apple. Finally, I just took my computer to Chris. It was a faulty hard drive cable. Chris replaced it in 20 minutes for free for me because I was a repeat customer. It pays to support local business! With the exception of changing out my power cord with an old dirty one, which I’m not sure what that was about, they did it in a timely fashion. They gave me a free diagnostic test as long as I was willing to wait a week. I can tell they try to be friendly, but I just needed my computer fixed for a good price. In the end, the total cost was a fraction of what I’d expected — I didn’t need a new hard drive or screen as others as suggested. The problem wasn’t simple but Jason diagnosed it while I waited. Not only did I get my machine working within about 40-50 minutes for far less than I’d expected, I really enjoyed his honest, fair approach. For instance, rather than throwing away your old hard drive or erasing it himself, he hires a service that picks it up in a locked box and destroys it. That’s bundles into the cost of the repair.
