⭐ “My phone was in an Otterbox, but I cracked the phone screen pretty badly while at the gym. My husband called this location, CPR Cell Phone Repair Chesapeake, with a description of my phone and its damage. We were provided a reasonable quote (initial cringe at the price, but about 85% less than paying for a new phone) and the attendants clearly described their repair process and predicted timeline for repair via phone call. I was impressed at the professionalism required to manage expectations for timing (less than 1 day to 4 days or more dependent on shipping/availability of supply). I was even more impressed when they ordered the screen (they keep many in storage, but my type of screen was not on hand due to the older style and cost of the screen) and it arrived within 16 hours. We showed up briefly 40 min prior to closing on Friday to fill out paperwork and place a down payment for the screen to be ordered. The phone was fully functioning, just a very badly cracked screen – keeping the phone on me for as long as possible was important to me. I received a call Saturday around 12pm that the screen was available. We stopped by about an hour later to drop off my phone for the repair. My husband and I waited about 1 hour and 45 minutes for the repair to be complete, a wait well-spent at Garage Brewery nearby, and seamlessly had the phone returned to us in brand new condition. The team was professional, managed my expectations well, and offered great customer service. I wish i had remembered names of the team members for a shoutout! I would recommend them, and will return for their professional opinion FIRST THING about phone salvageability if ever needed again! I was quoted a fair price for part and labor and made a deposit following the order. However, in hindsight after leaving the store, I realized while searching online that the total repair cost would be more than the phone was valued. Deciding to just buy a newer phone, I called the store to cancel the order, and the representative was very understanding and courteous about it. I quickly received a refund for my deposit.
